EVENTS ORGANIZED BY FUKUJU KAIKAN in 2017 & 2018

Fukuju Kaikan provides fresh green Japanese garden, tea ceremony rooms and western style building which are registered tangible cultural assets. We plan suitable events to generate awareness and to increase usage of Fukuju Kaikan.

We extend our warmest welcome to your participation in the evens listed below.

The 28th Civic Tea Ceremony in Fukuju Kaikan【This event was finished】

The civic tea ceremony will be held in Fukuju Kaikan.

We will serve matcha and Japanese cake.

You can also enjoy lush greenery in the garden.

The 9th Dolls’ Festival in Fukuju Kaikan

Various kinds of dolls from Edo period to present-day are decorated to celebrate Dolls’ Festival in Fukuju Kaikan which is a nationally important curtural property.

You can make a traditional Japanese envelope and a paper ribbon shaped a plum blossom.

You’ll see lots of beautiful Wagashi (Japanese sweets) and enjoy one of them with Matcha.
